On June 19 and 24, Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius colleagues teamed up for a resort-wide cleanup of the property, the beach and Chef’s Garden near the bee farm.
“After nearly four months of temporary closure due to the pandemic, 44 colleagues have joined hands to collect 50 bags of debris totaling more than 300 kilograms,” said Jessen Soopramanien, assistant communications manager of Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius. “All debris is collected by the garbage truck for proper disposal.”
“To upkeep our resort until the reopening, we have been very pleased with the voluntary participation of our team members from different departments,” said Sunil Beerbul, executive assistant manager of rooms and CSR champion of the resort. “With the help of our colleagues, we will have more initiatives in the coming weeks until our reopening to embellish our iconic property.”
Thank you to our dedicated colleagues in Mauritius for beautifying the resort grounds prior to guest arrival. We look forward to welcoming our guests to our piece of Mauritian paradise.
