As the UK entered the holiday period during a city-wide lockdown due to the pandemic, executive team members at Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London decided to deliver holiday cheer to its neighbors.
Over the Christmas holiday, the hotel team assembled and delivered care packages to healthcare workers at the breast cancer ward of Guy’s Cancer Centre, the hotel’s EMBRACE partner.
The care packages contained Christmas cakes and other delicious treats lovingly prepared by the hotel’s world-class pastry chef team.
