As an organization rooted in hospitality and care from the heart, Shangri-La Group is grateful for healthcare professionals who have sacrificed their time and health for the well-being of others during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the international crisis, medical professionals have spent countless hours serving their communities and spending little time at home.
On May 10, Kerry Hotel, Pudong Shanghai honored medical professionals’ dedication with a day of fun at the hotel. Eight-seven healthcare workers from the Shanghai Pudong New Area Gongli Hospital, Shu Guang Hospital, Hua Mu Community Hospital and traveling doctors attended the celebration with their families.
After long hours helping the community during the crisis, Kerry Hotel, Pudong Shanghai was happy to organize various activities for families to spend time together. Hotel colleagues organized and led a Zumba class, face painting, hand crafts, DIY Jianzi and a tour of the Adventure Zone where families played on the slides and in the interactive spaces.
“It was a great privilege to spend the afternoon celebrating the healthcare workers and their families,” said Jacqueline Kennedy, resident manager of Kerry Hotel, Pudong Shanghai. “We created the initiatve to show our respect and gratitude to the frontline medics for their hard work and dedication to healing the sick and protecting public health.”
