Kerry Hotel, Beijing Plogs Through The Capital

Originally started in Sweden in 2016, plogging, derived from the Swedish term “plocka upp,” is a combination of jogging while picking up litter. Now a global hobby, plogging is an eco-friendly activity that promotes healthy lifestyles while protecting the planet.

On May 7, 30 Kerry Hotel, Beijing colleagues and their family members participated in a plogging outing. In groups of three, the teams started from the hotel and split into three routes to cover the most ground and create the most impact. The three groups rejoined at the end in Chaoyang Park, Beijing’s largest park.

“It was a very productive morning, said Wei Wei Saw, director of communications at Kerry Hotel, Beijing. “Not only did we get a good workout, but we also did our part to clean the streets of Beijing and emphasized the importance of teamwork.”

Way to go, Kerry Hotel, Beijing!
