On April 9, the hotel hosted a professional nutritionist to educate 77 staff members on healthy eating habits and how to manage cholesterol levels.
“Our staff had a fun time learning about food they eat and how to balance their meals out,” said Judy Yeoh, director of human resources.
Every other month, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore celebrates birthdays and special occasions with the members of SPD, a local charity organization that supports members of the community with disabilities. On April 24, hotel staff visited the center to celebrate members’ birthdays with a delicious meal and fun birthday cake prepared by Hotel Jen’s culinary team.
On April 25, the hotel celebrated Earth Day by teaming up with Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore and Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore for a fun beach cleanup. During the event, team members collected waste including boxes, plastic bottles and food wrappers while interacting with colleagues from sister properties in Singapore.
“We look forward to keeping our beaches clean with more beach cleanups and sustainability projects,” said Judy Yeoh.
