Shangri-La properties are no strangers to vertical runs, and 2016 will add two new properties to the rosters of worldwide vertical runs. On July 31, in partnership with A Start in Life and OzHarvest, Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney will host its inaugural Climb ‘N’ Dine Charity Tower Race. With 200 competitors, the race will welcome individual and team runners and walkers for a challenging 37-story climb.
Once on level 36, participants can enjoy a delicious breakfast at Altitude and relish in spectacular views of the cityscape, Sydney Harbour and beyond.
“Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney has a strong sense of corporate social responsibility and we’re thrilled to create Climb ‘n’ Dine, a new and exciting sporting event in Sydney raising funds for our charity partners, A Start in Life and OzHarvest,” said Milan Drager, resident manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney.
Proceeds from the event will go to A Start in Life and OzHarvest, charitable organizations that help disadvantaged youth and a food rescue organization that collects and delivers food to more than 800 charities, respectively.
Those wishing to take the next step to a challenging morning climb on July 31 can register here. We wish all the runners a safe and fun competition!
