Recently, colleagues at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, The Philippines formed the resort’s first cycling club. The Kamalig Cycling Club is composed of twenty colleagues spanning different departments who all share a love for cycling.
Paulo Villasoto, service manager at Cielo, and Sonny Dela Cruz, a housekeeper at the resort, founded the Kamalig Cycling Club to help reduce colleagues’ carbon footprints and promote a healthy lifestyle. Using only their bicycles, the club members bike to and from work, go to the market, and even explore Aklan and its neighboring town.
Congrats to the founders and members of Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa’s Kamalig Cycling Club, and keep up the good work.
