Colleagues in Harbin Represent Shangri-La During the Harbin Marathon 2018
The journey to engaging CSR isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon! On August 26, 2018, 80 colleagues from Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin and Songbei Shangri-La, Harbin walked a 5K fun run that is organized alongside the Harbin Marathon 2018. Colleagues cheered on runners and showed their Shangri-La pride by carrying banners, flags and fun mooncake signs as the marathon was held just before the beginning of Mid-Autumn Festival.
Colleagues ended the walk at the Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin’s doors, where they cheered on runners as a live band played upbeat music.
During the race, colleagues energized participants with healthy hotel-made Shang Mooncakes. Beibei, the hotel’s mascot, helped pass out the mooncakes as runners made their way to the finish line.
“The two Shangri-La hotels in Harbin advocated a healthy, happy and shared life concept, ‘Sharing happiness and cheering for the Harbin Marathon’,” said Michelle Mao, director of communications for Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin. “It is the hotels’ corporate social responsibility to call on colleagues to live healthy lifestyles and share positive energy with one another as well as within our community.”
Congratulations to our colleagues in Harbin for representing our hotels in our community.
